About our plumbing and heating services
We are an approved contractor for APHC and Viessmann and have a Gold accreditation with Constructionline with Acclaim health and safety.
As a family run business our skills have been passed down from generation to generation. We are therefore able to deal with a diverse variety of plumbing and heating jobs. Some of our range of work includes gas, LPG gas and catering, oil, air source heat pumps, traditional LCC cast leading, threading and welding on black iron and galvanised iron pipework, fusion welding systems, warm air units, pipework fabrication, professional thermal insulation on all pipework, leak tracing with our thermal imaging camera. Our team
We have an amazing team with a wealth of experience between them, from our office staff to our team of engineers. All provide excellent customer service, reliability and trust worthiness. As we are a small team you can speak to the same members of staff throughout your contact with us, and can come into meet us at our trade counter if you prefer to deal with us face to face.
Clare Margle
Clare is our company Secretary and runs our office in Bishops Stortford . Along side Theresa she deals with customer queries and bookings, also any after sales or billing queries. Clare deals with our accounts, HR, health and safety and everything involved in running the business She has been with us since 2013 and was a manager in insurance prior to taking over her role from Jackie Margle when she retired.
Steven Margle
Steven is our Managing Director. He is a qualified pluming and heating engineer with over 20 years experience. He is also qualified to deal with air source pump systems and LPG gas. An expert in design of systems and bathrooms and one of our engineers who does our quote visits.
Jonny Margle
Jonny is our company director and a qualified plumbing and gas engineer with over 16 years experience. He is also qualified on commercial gas and LPG catering. An expert on identifying issues with problem systems and giving solutions to resolve issues. One of our engineers who does quote visits. Jonny is also OFTEC registered for oil systems.
Stuart Lawrence
Stuart is our plumbing and heating services manager. He is an qualified plumbing and gas engineer with over 20 years experience. He deals with all our suppliers accounts and buying of parts. An expert on identifying parts and sourcing replacements as he was previously a rep for various merchants.
Andy Hayden
Andy is one of our plumbing engineers with over 30 years experience in domestic plumbing. An expert in bathroom installations and fault finding on domestic systems. Andy deals with most of our local plumbing jobs and bathroom installations.
Theresa Hayden
Theresa has recently joined the company as an administration assistant on a part time basis and has now been promoted to full time office manager. She will be dealing with customers on the phone and email taking bookings and dealing with any enquiries. Theresa is a trained plumber and has been in plumbing for 28 years, previously working alongside her husband Andy who also works for us, so she is well suited to dealing with plumbing queries from customers on the phone.
